Every time someone from London comes over to visit me, this club seems more important then anything else on their itinerary. If you visit Berghain you know what you get if you get in: a great club, great crowd and great music. Don’t go Saturday night, go Sunday afternoon instead.

A trashy fun thursday night institution in Prenzlauerberg that has been going strong for 15 years now. The host Chantal has performed the same electro song for 15 years, this happens around 02.00 something you can’t miss. You can’t visit Berlin without having been to Roses. This is still my favorite bar since I first visited Berlin 10 years ago. With its pink fur coated walls and kitchy trashy art, you feel like you’re in a Pierre et Gilles photo shoot. Open every night.
