OLD SHIP

The Old Ship has won its petition to keep the venue open and serving the gay patrons of Limehouse! Thank you to all who supported it from John and the team, they have succeeded in staying on in the area for a long time… And why not celebrate with The Old Ship’s renowned weekend cabaret where a different star of the all-singing, all-dancing London scene will display their talents for you. TWO BREWERS

The Two Brewers has a jam-packed roster for the second weekend of January, so you can laugh away those first-month blues! Rose Garden will be onstage on Thursday 9th with entry free before 10pm (£3 after), then you’ll find Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild on Friday 10th January, with entry again free before 10pm and £5 after. Plus don’t forget about the Two Brewers’ massive January sale in 2014 of 50% off all drinks between 5 and 10pm!

HALFWAY TO HEAVEN

Wheel yourself back into the cabaret fun of the fair at Halfway to Heaven, starting with Myra DuBois’ ‘Friday Night Live’ whipping the crowd into a frenzie with her own unique D.I.S.C.O on Friday 10th January. Saturday 101h sees the return of Rose Garden’s ‘Saturday Market Swap Shop’ at 4pm, an afternoon of madness where you make the show: bring down your swaps from old knick-nacks to unwanted boyfriends! Rose is followed by Justin Swift’s ‘Bears Downstairs’ from 9pm. Then finish off the weekend with acid-tongued Mrs Moore at 8pm on Sunday 12th January.

MANBAR

Manbar are starting to heat up the weekend early on Thursday 9th January with singing legend Lonnie Gordon featuring a fresh and energized set of disco tunes at ‘Flaunt It’, plus sexy gogo dancers, Happy Hour £3 drink deals before 9pm, and resident DJ Nick Shepherdson filling the floor with commercial remixes. Then Friday 10th January sees ‘Spunk’ with resident DJs Rob C, Nick Shepherdson, Little Rob and Amox.
