KU BAR
It’s St Patrick’s Day weekend at Ku Bar, and what a weekend it promises to be! Celebrations kick off in a sporty vein with plenty of hunky, muscular men in front of your visage, both behind the bar and on the screens, as Ku launches an entire day of 6 Nations Rugby on Saturday 15th March, with Italy vs England at lunch, then Wales vs Scotland, and lastly France vs Ireland (come on, Ireland!). Sunday 16th March sees the whole of London celebrating Paddy’s Day with a Parade and an all-day free festival in Trafalgar Square, so expect a sea of green to be enjoying ‘the craic’ at Ku. And Monday 17th March is, of course, St Patrick’s Day itself with no shortage of Irish tunes flowing on the Ku Juke Box, and no shortage of Irish drinks flowing from the bar, including Guinness, Magners, Jameson’s and Baileys! Expect plenty of Guinness giveaways for those on the black stuff…

COMPTONS
This weekend at Comptons is the Grand Old Dame of Old Compton Street’s 27th birthday! And as any gal who was born, bred and raised on the Soho gay scene would do, she’s had upper implants and a face peel to celebrate the pivot into her late twenties, which will have their Grand Unveiling this Friday 14th and Saturday 15th March. Both nights will be open until 2am, with an amazing DJ lineup all weekend and complimentary fizz. Plus on Saturday 15th, Comptons will be showing the final Six Nations rugby games on the big screens with kick-off at 12.30pm, 14.45pm and 17.00pm.
