21/03/15: Thank God for BRUT! About bloody time London’s somewhat fragmented gay party scene for men more than boys was refreshed, and just in the nick of time.
Wayne Shires, club promoter extraordinaire with a portfolio of testosterone fuelled clubs where men could feel like men with men, including Crash (remember those days?) and actually dance to great cutting edge music (remember THAT?!!) has hit the jackpot!
It’s raining men, hallelujah! Men, oh men, dancing with blokes in their forties and with eye-candy on offer from an international base of thirty-something testosterone fuelled top-ups!
Tom Stephan, Ben Jamin, Chris Camplin and Ross Jones commanded the wheels of steel on the packed, laser-lit main floor with awesome beats, and in Room Two, Paul Coals and the Meat boys ripped up the decks and threw the rule book out. Long live the Brut!
