10/01/15: For us serial G-A-Y-ers, 16 weeks of X Factor contestants finally came to an end on Saturday night as runner up Fleur East took her turn in the spotlight. Saving the best ’til last, 27-year-old Fleur is undoubtedly the one to watch from this season and belted out five competent numbers whilst comfortably chatting and working the crowd between.
Flaunting her tight midriff in a pierced leather top and black bra, she delivered ‘Bang Bang’, ‘All About The Bass’, ‘Lady Marmalade’, ‘I’m Every Woman’ and Ronson’s runaway hit ‘Uptown Funk’ before Jeremy was able to elicit a pinky promise from her to launch her first single at G-A-Y.
Off stage she was just as bubbly and fun and tweeted ‘I just had the BEST time ever on stage’ and ‘It was the best crowd ever!!! Thanks for having me and being amazing!’ We, for one, can’t wait for her to come back with her own material and a full show.
