Two Brewers

Two Brewers

This Friday 19th, Lola Lasagne brings her meat to the Brewers. She can be a bit cheesy too (sorry, not sorry). DJ Demon and Paul Short lay down the tunes. La Voix is on Saturday 20th – although her big old weave meant she had to leave the Big Band at home.

New Year’s Eve on Wednesday 31st December at the Two Brewers has got the Power of 3 live on stage and late-night beats courtesy of DJs Demon, Paul Short and Phil Marriott on the decks. Tickets £18, £20 OTD, open from 7.30pm-6am, and keep your ticket for free entry to their New Year’s Day party on 1st January! Miss Jason tickles the humour buds of the NYD crowd, with opening times from 7pm-3m. Free before 8pm, £4 after.

Ku Bar

Though Christmas has passed it’s still the festive season, which means it’s still late night closing at all Ku venues on Friday and Saturday – 3am. And even an extended closing time at Ku Klub this Sunday 28th of 3am too! And don’t forget Champagne Sundays where it’s only £6.50 a glass! *Staggers for night bus*

Halfway II Heaven

This Saturday 27th Rose Garden (although she’s a total bramble bush if you piss her off) is doing her Swap Shop from 4pm. Maybe pick up a gallon of eye shadow or a sequin thong for your nan. That’s followed by Camp Disco – is there any other kind? Then Sunday 28th Mrs Moore will be staggering about in a holiday daze.

The Old Ship

The East End voyage raises its sails this Sunday 28th with Candy Slag In Drag as their hostess. We’re sure she’s seen plenty of seamen in her time! We’re also sure you’re still off work until the New Year anyway, so no excuses not to be doing body shots off her mid-riff until closing time.

The Yard

Really though, who needs a full-on Winter Wonderland when you’ve got the pleasure of smoking outside and a good beer? Not to mention some of London’s best looking/dressed men. Like, at least you know the man’ll have a job before you chat him up, init. But not ready to bare the brunt of the cold, head indoors for a festive tipple!

West 5

Inbetween Christmas and New Years can be a kind of awkward time  – but not if you’re a scene queen! Sasky is performing at West 5 this Saturday 27th, as well as their usual mix of commercial pop to have you skanking in ‘til January.

The Black Cap

On Boxing Day, Friday 26th December, you’ll find the Dannie Dee Boxing Day Show lighting up the boards of Camden town with special star Miss Dee herself making you all feel full of festive glee. Saturday 27th is a damn big party at Camden’s finest cabaret and clubbing bar as they introduce ‘TLC’ from 10pm-3am with Tim Lloyd, Meth and special guests, entry £6/8.

Guess what’s up the Black Cap’s happy entertainment sleeve over the New Year’s Eve period? Only one of the best entertainers in all of fair London town but Mr Scottee himself! He’ll be bringing his huge NYE party CAMP, featuring legendarily camp 80s band Black Lace (remember A-ga-doo?) as headliners to the party. Tickets on sale from www.campery.co.uk

Central Station

It’s almost New Year’s and maybe if you get Topsie Refern sloshed enough this Saturday 27th, she’ll agree to kiss ya when the ball drops. Actually scrap that, we all know she’ll rub up against anything with a pulse. Try ya chances this weekend!
