Amy Zing, Joan Oh and Poly Ester

One of the most outrageous and flamboyant gay nights in London returns for their Summer Ball this weekend, and we speak to Amy and Glyn from Sink the Pink to find out how to two-step that fandango with the best of the East End drags in ten inch stilettos…

MEET THE GIRLS:

Amy and Glyn

Oh yeah those two freaks, they get enough press. Ageing fag and hag says all that needs to be said really.

Joan Oh

Queen of dance sensation Hot Heels, Joan Oh is Sink The Pink’s choreographer, or as we call her ‘maje chore lege’. She truly is 50 Shades of Maje!

Poly Ester

Never one to be shy, Poly is known for her outrageously large wigs – she literally has to bend down to get through doors, often she doesn’t get up.

Jonbenet Blonde

Pisses on any WAG. The feminine charm and looks of the most gentle of goddesses, Jonbenet will have you screaming for more when she flies onto stage with her muscle boys at her side.

Annie Pics

Every Sink The Pink photograph is taken by our Annie, not only is she a dream team player, but she’s capturing it all as she goes, and she’s only lost her camera once, or twice, or…

Jacqui Potato

Everyone’s favourite potato based product, she may currently have the mumps, but she is still always the last tran standing.

Ten Steps to Sink the Pink:

 1. More is more – if you think you’ve put enough make up on, you’re probably wrong.

2. If the ceiling sweats into your drink IT’S A GOOD THING!

3. If you eat enough glitter you WILL do a sparkly poo.

4. A true Sink The Pinker can make a look out of ANYTHING.

5. Pound Shop couture will always be relevant.

6. Paks Weave Shop in Dalston is the oracle.

7. Bum Bags are your best friend.

8. Wine? Gin? Make it a pint.

9. Get in early, our doors can only hold so many, no one wants to be left out in the cold.

10. This dress is dry clean only Melanie!

• Sink the Pink Summer Ball is on Saturday 21st June from 8pm-4am at the Troxy (490 Commercial Road, E1 0HX).
