There was a time when The Beatles weren’t the legends of the music industry, and just a fun band of young guys touring the world. It was as young guys that they decided to really band together and bond, and of course there’s only way of doing that… having a circle jerk of course! This gives a whole new meaning to their hit ‘Come Together’…
In an interview with GQ, Paul McCartney shared an anecdote from the band’s years, where he details an evening of bonding with John Lennon and the rest of the group had one big masturbation-session. The story was shared as part of Chris Heath’s extensive profile of McCartney.
He shared that “What it was, was over at John’s house, and it was just a group of us. And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying — I don’t even know if we were staying over or anything — we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did.”
“We were just, ‘Brigitte Bardot!’ ‘Whoo!’” shared the now 76-year-old McCartney, “and then everyone would thrash a bit more.”
Lennon’s sexual appetite was a little more niche shouting out “Winston Churchill” during one session. I mean, we kind of get it. Powerful men and all that.
When asked if this ritual of self pleasure was a regular occurrence he shared that “I think it was a one-off, or maybe it was like a two-off. It wasn’t a big thing. But, you know, it was just the kind of thing you didn’t think much of. It was just a group. Yeah, it’s quite raunchy when you think about it. There’s so many things like that from when you’re a kid that you look back on and you’re, ‘Did we do that?’ But it was good harmless fun. It didn’t hurt anyone. Not even Brigitte Bardot.”
