Cast your cautions into the gutter by the Thames, pull on some Timbalands and dig out that leather bracelet from…well…from last time you went to Brüt!
Brüt is the brainchild of one of the London gay scene’s best-known beary blokes, Wayne Shires! He can often be seen propping up the bar at The Bloc noshing on some nuts (stop it) or taking the pooches for a walk in Battersea Park. He’s fast becoming one of the major players on our mad old gay scene.
Now this month, it’s back to beefy business for Brut after the sweltering whirlwind that was this summer. It was a scorcher wasn’t it! Also, everyone seems to go a bit mad in London in the summer, and this summer was PARTICULARLY mad. Anyway, they’re marking the end of this craziness with, erm…another crazy party! Yay!
They’re kicking things off with a Beer Blast – £3 pints until midnight! That’s unheard of in London innit. Get a few pints down ya, and then things REALLY get going, as special guest DJ Funkybear takes to the decks in the main room, with his trademark big floor beats. As well as him they’ve got Brut residents Louis Lennon and Ross Jones adding some extra brutey bass!
In the second room it’s more disco-type vibes, with DJ Dreadful, Ben Jamin, and Beefmince creator DJ Silverhook!
Brut London are showing they’re still on form after a hectic summer, and above all, keepin’ it beefy!
