After a brief flirtation with the BRÜT arches at the end of August, BANG are back at Shoreditch hotspot Rolling Stock this Friday (16th).
BANG parties are always a unique contradiction of muscled Vauxhall sexiness and cool East-End nonchalance. Think bare-chested, but with a knowing eyebrow raised. This one will be no different, especially as it’s to celebrate London Fashion Week. Fashionistas famously love to party.
Perhaps you’ll see David Gandy swinging his shirt gleefully over his head on the dance floor. Maybe Karl Lagerfeld will clumsily lean over and break up your flirting sesh with one of his Chanel models so he can borrow your light in the smoking area. Or Anna Wintour could exclaim loudly in the queue how ugly your shoes are.
All very much DISTINCT possibilities. What’s certain to happen, however, is DJs Louis Chatten, Matt Bogard and Zach Burns will be bringing you their Autumn/ Winter 2016 range of dance floor beats (rumour has it that hard-hitting House is back in vogue this season) to stir up your inner cover girl and put the bass in your walk. So, sashay up the Kingsland catwalk and take your seat on the front row to witness one of East London’s coolest and most unpredictable club nights. BANGIN’.
• BANG Fashion Week is on Friday 16th September at Rolling Stock, 48 Kingsland Road, E2 8DN. 10pm – late. £10 entry.
