…and hosting a typically glamorous bash to celebrate!
London’s premier Latino LGBT club have been serving passionate, hot-blooded rhythms since 1996, which, by way of comparison, is a couple of years before Enrique Iglesias caught the world’s attention with ‘Bailamos’. You know, ‘BAILAMOS, LET THE RHYTHM TAKE YOU OVER!’. Yeah, that one. From inauspicious beginnings in a bingo hall on the Latimer Road to its current booming home on Frith Street, they have reached Elizabeth II-esque levels of longevity on London’s gay scene.
To celebrate this laudable landmark, they are hosting a special Great Gatsby-themed party this Saturday (17th), in what will almost certainly be a far more salubrious occasion than whatever it was you did on the night of your 20th birthday. They’re promising champagne, live bands, and special guest DJs, as well as founder and Resident DJG, to keep you partying like it’s the summer of 1922.
So slick your hair dashingly over to the side, dig out your feathers and sequins, or just stare melancholically out of the window with a mint julep in your grasp as you mull over the one that got away, because this is going to be one of those nights. All are welcome. Here’s hoping that they’ll be around for another 20 years of sexy, Spanish partying!
