A petition has been started imploring London Mayor Sadiq Khan to remove London from the UK, and it is gaining meteoric traction online.
Started by James O’Malley earlier this afternoon, the petition has already gained 50,000 signatures. It comes as Nicola Sturgeon fairly explicity hints at a second Independent Referendum for Scotland, and remain voters everywhere shake their heads in despair.
Meanwhile, many leave voters are expressing regret. One told the BBC: “I’m shocked and worried. I voted leave but didn’t think my vote would count. I didn’t think it would actually happen.” NICE ONE HUN.
For the record, if a vote for an Independent London were on the cards, QX Magazine would, of course, be totally behind it. Partly because it’s all quite camp and is making us feel our Game Of Thrones fantasy, but ALSO because the results of the referendum have not reflected the opinions and values of those who we know and love.
